![]() The 'chicken' farm area sometimes has clusters of 5 Lv.10 chickens which can easily kill a whole team of Lv.12's if they aren't well supplied with both HP and SP food. Starting a whole team of brand new characters to help level up your main won't help you as much as you would think. If you don't have anyone to help you, things will go quite slow. You will have to farm Lv.10 chickens until you get to Lv.10, otherwise if you go off grinding enemies that are 30+ you can be respawned. If you have a high-level friend or a decently leveled character of your own, you can get to Lv.30 in just a few hours. There's two ways your experience of getting to Lv.30 can go: In this game's prime years, the amount of players that were stuck between levels 10-40 were astounding, so much so that whenever these low-leveled players encountered someone that was 100+, they considered them to be gods, let alone the reborns and the whales. Even if you're smart enough to look up the poorly updated wiki, not even that is reliable enough to save a new player from the noob trap that is the first thirty levels. ![]() This game does not give the player a clue about how to play, what to do, and where to go. I'm going to break this down into different phases of leveling. ![]() Getting to levelcap in this game can take around 5 years of consistent play and a few dollars spent in the cash shop, and that's only if you do it right and don't fuck up. So, you want to get to levelcap in Wonderland Online, right? Well, I recommend you do not do that. Instead you have the option to 'poke' the target with no SP cost. Since this is a turn-based game, there is no 'auto-attack'. The same applies to your pet, but they will also lose amity, which can eventually cause them to run away forever. To the exception of certain weekly events and the dueling hall, dying will result in losing 1% of the amount of exp you currently have towards the next level. ![]() Additionally, you can set it to auto-heal you with food in your inventory after battle, and the advanced cash shop version allows you to set a rotation. This allows you to fight enemies automatically and run around in circles to get into more encounters. There is an in-game item called the e-remote. If the same happens to your pet, they will be removed from the battle. If you take too much damage from a single hit, your character will be forcibly respawned. (If you played FFVIII, it works exactly like that)ĭue to the game's low graphics demand, it was common for people with half-decent computers to run a whole team of player characters by themselves. Whenever you are in a team, only the team member can move the characters around outside of combat. With all players having their pets out, that raises your team's actor count to 8. Pets can either be used as a mount that can give bonuses depending on what saddles you equip it, or can be used as a second character in battle in which you command the same as you do your own character.Įach team can have 4 players. Nearly all overworld enemies that aren't human can be captured as pets. However, most people just pay the whales for sellruns to get these skills.Īs far as the NA/EU servers are concerned, WLO is heavily P2W.Īlmost all equipment in the game can be broken, permanently. The element you choose at the CC will determine the bulk of what skills are available to you.Įndgame progression is mostly about obtaining powerful skills from very difficult quests. The SPD stat determines who moves first.Ĭlasses are a secondary part of the character and only come into consideration after reaching a minimum level of 100. You have a command phase where you choose your action, and the action phase where all actors play out their actions. Before I explain, there are some facts that should be stated about the game so I don't have to explain them later: Now that Wonderland Online has been shut down, I've been thinking about just how crazy leveling up is in that game, especially compared to the most recent MMO I've played, FFXIV.
